Chickpeas for a Rainy Day
I’m writing this to you during a classic Canadian April snow shower. Mere days ago I was potting my pansies, and enjoying a snack of sliced grapefruit sprinkled with salt and cayenne and some gingery goji and jujube tea (my two current obsessions) outside on my back steps in the sun anticipating more days like these ahead. But, alas, they don’t call it ‘Fool’s Spring’ for nothing!
